The latest news from Boronia Heights Primary School.

Primary Schools for the 21st Century

    Building and Revolution Program

As stated last week Boronia heights Primary School has received $3,000,000 for a new library and six classrooms which are planned to be placed where the current prep-2 playground. The playground will be relocated on the site of the existing grade 1 portables to create a new junior playground and expand the existing grade 2-3 playground. The work on the new building we hope will commence in term 3. A plan of this building is attached to the newsletter. The $200,000 from the National School Pride program will be utilised to refurbish the existing library and several senior classrooms to create a grade 6 learning centre, which will occur before the end of this year. This means that over the next 6-9 months we will have $3.2 million  spent on new or refurbished facilities and associated new technologies. Which is an exciting opportunity for our school and one I look forward to working with school council and our community in implementing over the rest of the this year.

Below you will find the plans for our new buildings.
