Active Club
Active Club which was run on Wednesday lunchtimes in Terms 2 and 3 has concluded for this year. Well done to all of the students who got involved – including a lot of the Prep students. And a big congratulations to Edmund in 3A for completing 100 laps of the double ovals during active club. Edmund completed more laps than anyone else and as a reward, he was presented with an engraved medal at our last assembly.
There are some exciting changes planned for our 2025 Active Club …
- Firstly, it will begin in Term 1 and act as great preparation for the whole school cross country event that will be held again at the end of Term 1.
- Secondly, Active Club is being moved to before school so that students don’t miss out on playing with their friends during lunchtime. This also means that parents and family members may join their children in walking, jogging, or running around the ovals to help encourage them to start the day with a healthy habit.
- *Finally, we’ll be looking at holding Active Club twice a week before school during Term 1 to increase the number of opportunities that students and families have to join in.
Stay tuned for information about the new time and days of 2025 Active Club at the beginning of next school year. Looking forward to having lots of participants next year!
