Reporting

2020 saw the introduction of Continuous Reporting at Boronia Heights Primary School. This involves teachers reporting student progress to families continually throughout the year as part of our reporting process. Continuous Reporting provides timely and immediate feedback on a child’s achievement and future learning goals in a particular subject area, while strengthening family partnerships by engaging teachers and families in regular and meaningful communication about students’ future learning. The Continuous Reports are then collated into a final semester report accompanied by a general teacher comment and progression points against the Victorian Curriculum. The progression point considers all evidence of learning collected across the semester – this may include discussions, conferencing, teacher observations, book-work, formal assessments and hands-on experiences.
