My name is Mathew Anderton and as the Principal, I share a common goal with parents, students and staff: the commitment to educational excellence and personal growth.

We are committed to offering learning opportunities that cater for individual learning styles, promote a thinking culture, engage and extend our students, develop independence and resilience while working together collaboratively. We pride ourselves on working with our school community in the provision of a high standard of education. Boronia Heights is known for the positive relationships that exist between children, staff and parents. Parents are highly valued for their support and involvement in our curriculum programs (classroom helper), whole school events and memberships of the School Council, School Council sub-committees and Parent’s Association. We welcome your involvement and support as this will strengthen the links between home and school and enhance our educational achievements.
Substantial building programs beginning in 2017 provided us with fully rebuilt ultra-modern, open-plan flexible learning spaces, supporting us to foster our learning communities. With the inclusion of an outstanding Performing Arts facility and full-sized physical education hall/gymnasium complex and two synthetically turfed ovals (incorporating a number of sports), we can accommodate an ever-growing range of curriculum and enrichment programs. Additional to our air-conditioned classrooms, Boronia Heights is able to provide many outdoor learning spaces under permanent shade structures erected for this purpose.
A full range of Specialist programs includes STEAM, Physical Education, Performing Arts, Visual Arts and German. We look forward to inviting you to tour our school, discuss your child’s needs and see firsthand our extensive programs that stimulate learning, creativity and imagination.
