Holidays are fast approaching! And the warmer, sunny days with blossoms on the trees and bright flowers in people’s gardens are lovely to see.
Spring gives families greater scope and opportunity to explore the great outdoors, be it the local park and playground or further afield to the beach or a bushwalk in the Dandenongs. I also enjoy a visit to Ferntree Gully Quarry Reserve or an ice cream or cuppa in Ferntree Gully North and a walk up the Kokoda Trail steps! Here are a few suggestions of activities that are on over the coming weeks:
A Plastic Ocean Film
Come along for an informative and thought-provoking free movie event where a team of international scientists reveal the causes and consequences of plastic pollution and share solutions. Also featuring Sir David Attenborough.
Enjoy pre-event tea and coffee and door prizes. Bring your own re-usable drink bottle with drink and receive a bag of lollies for the movie!
