iPads in Year 4
In Year 4 we have continued to enjoy using our iPads for a wide variety of tasks. With our Apple TVs now in the classroom, students have loved being able to ‘mirror’ their iPad onto the classroom TVs to share their work.
Students have been able to use this feature to share their writing, photos from mathematics investigations as well as short videos they have recorded.
At the end of Term 3 many students chose to present their ‘Convict Topic Talk’ using digital technology. It was wonderful to see students use their devices creatively to display the information they were presenting.
“It was fun to share some of the videos we made in writing” – Lily 4M
“The topic talks were really easy, I didn’t have to keep turning my iPad around. Everyone could easily see. It’s so handy!” – Saphira 4O
“It’s great for quickly sharing things we’ve found.” – Cadence 4M
